Make sure the Trimlight controller has a solid blue light near the VCC and GND terminals. If the light is not on, press the AP/STA button until it is solid blue.
If a section of your Trimlight lights is not on or stuck on blue, you can try these steps:
- Make sure the Trimlight controller has a solid blue light near the VCC and GND terminals. If the light is not on, press the AP/STA button until it is solid blue.
- Make sure the Trimlight network has a strong signal to the location of your WiFi router. You may need a Wi-Fi signal extender if the signal is weak.
- Make sure the Wi-Fi router has a strong signal to the location of the Trimlight controller. Some routers have strict protocols that won't allow a Trimlight system to pair with them.
- If you cannot get the blue light to appear, try a soft reset. Unplug the controller for one minute and plug it back in. This will resolve most issues with the Trimlight system.
- If a soft reset does not resolve the issue, try a hard reset. Hold down the gray minus button on the controller for 8 to 10 seconds. This will erase all custom patterns and timers.
