How do I add the "firework" motion to my Trimlight Edge System?

Enhance your surroundings with a burst of motion resembling a dazzling firework display. Explore our step-by-step guide to effortlessly add this motion to a Trimlight Edge pattern.

To add the Firework motion to a pattern in Trimlight Edge, begin by opening the app and selecting the palette icon located in the bottom left corner. This will take you to the area where you can view and edit your available patterns. From there, choose the pattern you want to update with the Firework motion. Selecting the correct pattern first is important, because the motion effect will only apply to the pattern you are actively editing.

Once you have opened the pattern, look for the motions tab located underneath your pattern options. Tap that tab to view the available motion settings, then select Firework. After choosing this effect, your pattern will display the Firework motion instead of remaining static. This is a simple way to add more movement and visual interest to your lighting display while still keeping your preferred colors and overall pattern design.

After applying the motion, be sure to save your changes. You can do this by selecting either Save As or Cover, depending on whether you want to create a new version of the pattern or replace the existing one. If you skip this step, the Firework motion will not be saved to your pattern, and your changes may be lost. Taking an extra moment to confirm your save can help ensure the updated pattern is available the next time you open the app.

If you decide later that you want to remove the Firework motion, repeat the same steps by opening the pattern again and returning to the motions tab. From there, select Static or choose a different motion option. Then save your pattern once more so the updated setting is applied correctly. Following these steps will help you customize your pattern with confidence and make future adjustments quickly whenever you want a different lighting effect.
