How do I set up timers or a schedule with Trimlight Edge?
The scheduling tools in the Trimlight Edge app allow you to program your permanent outdoor lights to turn on, display a selected pattern, and turn off automatically. You can create schedules for holidays, everyday accent lighting, game days, birthdays, or special events without manually changing your lights each night. Before creating a schedule, make sure the color combination or pattern you want to use has been saved in the Trimlight Edge app. A saved pattern can then be added to a schedule with the desired start time, stop time, and days of the week.

Open the Trimlight Edge app and locate the scheduling or timer controls. Select the option to create a new schedule, then choose the saved pattern you want your lights to display. Enter the time you want the lights to turn on and the time you want them to turn off.
Next, choose the days when the schedule should run. You may be able to select individual days, every day, weekdays, weekends, or another combination that fits your lighting plans. Review the schedule carefully before saving it to make sure the pattern, start time, stop time, and selected days are correct.
After saving the schedule, place the controller into Timer Mode. Timer Mode must be active for the controller to follow the programmed schedule. If the controller is left in another operating mode, the lights may remain on or may not begin the selected pattern at the scheduled time.

After creating your schedule, allow the controller a moment to receive the new settings. You can verify the schedule by reopening the app and reviewing the saved information. Make sure the schedule is enabled and that the controller remains in Timer Mode when you exit the app.

If your lights do not turn on or off at the programmed time, reopen the app and confirm that the schedule is enabled. Check the selected days and times, then switch the controller into Timer Mode again before exiting. You may also need to force close and reopen the app to refresh its connection with the controller.
