How do I delete or rename a pattern in my Trimlight Select Plus library?
Stay organized and in control of your lighting library. Explore our step-by-step guide on how to easily delete or rename patterns in your Trimlight Select Plus system. Tailor your lighting experience effortlessly.
Open the Trimlight Select Plus app and tap the clock icon in the bottom-right corner. Under Pattern Library, locate the saved pattern you want to change. Swipe left across the pattern name to reveal the available options. Select the trash-can icon to delete the pattern, or choose RE-NAME when you only want to update its name.
Check the selected pattern carefully before deleting it, especially when several designs use similar colors or titles. Clear names such as “Christmas Red and Green,” “Warm White,” or “Game Day” can make the library easier to scan and reduce the chance of choosing the wrong display later.
The Trimlight app can store up to 30 saved patterns. If you reach that limit, removing older or unused designs will create room for new ones. You can also rename generic patterns before deciding which designs should stay in the library.
To rename a pattern, follow the same path through the clock icon and Pattern Library. Swipe left on the saved pattern, select RE-NAME, enter the new title, and save the change. Return to the library afterward and confirm that the updated name appears correctly.
The image above shows the Trimlight Select Plus app and can help you identify where the library controls are located. Since the app screen may contain several saved designs, work through the list one pattern at a time.
Keeping the Pattern Library organized makes everyday control and future scheduling easier. Use descriptive names for patterns you want to keep, and remove only the designs you are sure you no longer need.
